Yes, that’s right. Live, drunken shrimp, brought to the table still jumping, and soaked in a bowl of rice wine until slightly more subdued. Of course, the LA ‘Nauts have loads of other Cantonese delicacies for you – duck tongues, goose web, sea cucumber, and multiple parts of pig, all washed down with cold Tsingtao beer.

The LA Gastronauts head to the mole temple of Guelaguetza in LA’s Oaxacatown, where they dine on unusual ingredients sourced directly from Oaxaca for their dinner…including crickets, worms and a goat’s stomach stuffed with blood and offal.
