So here’s what we’ve got in store: a classic Greek feast to welcome the season. We’ve found a fantastic restaurant out in Astoria (highly recommended by a local friend), and we’ve sweet-talked the owner, Kostas, into going off the menu for us.
We came across this place on the night it opened, and Curtiss and I looked seriously out of place among the dapper men and regal women in their Senegalese and Malian best, they welcomed us in and thrust big plates of food in front of us.
Costas, chef of Astoria’s Cretan restaurant S’Agapo, cooks a Whole Head of Lamb for the Gastronauts.
